LEAK INVESTIGATIONS
We like to carry out leak investigations while they are active which generally means when it is raining. The winter or rainy season is of course the busiest time for this service. These call sometimes overwhelm our service centre, however we can usually provide same day emergency service.
We will try to locate the leak at the time of our visit and if possible achieve at least a temporary repair. Permanent repairs are sometimes possible at the time of our initial visit however most permanent repairs can only be completed in dry weather.
Tarping is provided when there are numerous leaks or when the roof is too deteriorated to effectively patch. Tarping is only effective on sloped roofs, it is totally ineffective on flat roof surfaces.
Pricing - All leak investigations have a fixed minimum call out fee. There is an additional charge for tarping.
A credit card is required for this service. The charge will only be put through when the leak investigation call is complete. If a temporary patch is the only repair that can be effected an additional quote will then be supplied for the permanent repair.
