DOING OUR PART
The idea of a "global footprint" has come to be associated with global warming. It refers to the amount of energy and resources we consume in our daily lives, both at home and in the workplace. The footprint is a reminder to all of us as to how we can become more aware of the impact of our lifestyle and work environment and how it affects the planet and future generations.
At RooFix we have made a decision to be proactive with the issue. The average age of our staff is 32 years and for these people and their children the issue is of vital concern. It will impact them directly. We can stand back and let it happen or we can take a proactive approach. Our proactive approach is called "Doing Our Part" TM.
Our approach will be on three levels; an individual level, a corporate level and an industry level.
In each situation we have only provided an overview of activities and initiatives undertaken. In order to keep things brief, links have been provided where good resources exist on line, should you wish more information.
